January 15, 2025 – A walk down most streets in the heart of Nashville reveals what many of us already know: Nashville is an amazing place to live and to visit.

Middle Tennessee also carries immense appeal in the corporate segment, as Music City — and the state of Tennessee as a whole — are among the nation’s best picks as destinations for establishing (or relocating) corporate headquarters.

The most recent edition of the annual survey in Site Selection Magazine ranked Tennessee in a tie with Texas for the fourth-best business climate in the United States, while Nashville was ranked as the fourth most-sought-after destination for corporate headquarters, on the heels of its tie for second place in 2023.

Corporate headquarters in the Nashville area include Dollar GeneralHCA HealthcareMitsubishi Motors CorporationNissan Motor Corporation (North America) and Tractor Supply Company, with Oracle and In-N-Out Burger announcing their upcoming moves to Nashville.

Nashville’s growth was also highly regarded with its third-place finish on CNBC‘s ranking of states with the best economies in America, fueled by more than $30 billion of visitor spending revenue in 2023.

Tennessee’s economic outlook is more favorable than that of the nation’s,” economist Lawrence Kessler said.

The Nashville Stars salute Music City’s continued success as we work to welcome Major League Baseball (MLB) and its fans to our home.
